Sophomore goalkeeper Jared Corcoran (Concord, N.H./Concord) made 15 saves, including 10 in the second half as No. 1 Le Moyne advanced to its first NCAA Championship game in school history with a 7-5 win over New York Institute of Technology at Le Moyne's Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex. The Dolphins (15-0) advance to play co-No.1 Limestone (15-0) in the NCAA Division II Men's Lacrosse Championship on May 30 at 3 p.m.

N.Y. Tech controlled the opening faceoff and Tom Zummo (Islip, N.Y.) converted an unassisted goal 34 seconds into the contest, but Le Moyne stifled the Bears' offense over the next 38 minutes. Junior midfielder Kyle Reichel (East Syracuse, N.Y./East Syracuse-Minoa) and junior attack Brandon Spillett (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) scored goals over a span of 51 seconds to put the Dolphins up 2-1 in the first quarter. The Limestone Saints built a big lead then had to hold on to edge Mercyhurst 14-12 Saturday, May 22, in a Division II semifinal game played in Gaffney, South Carolina.

Limestone (15-1) will meet co-#1 Le Moyne (15-0) for the national championship next Sunday, May 30, at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Saints opened a 5-3 lead after a quarter and stretched the advantage to 8-3 at halftime.
