2 Navy 8 1 4 first-place votes. Huge win over Terps vaults Mids to No. 2. Easy weekend ahead against Lehigh and Holy Cross.

3 Syracuse 7 1 Overcame a hot goalie to smack Loyola. At dangerous Cornell on Tue. then Rutgers on Sat.

4 Maryland 8 1 First loss drops Terps to No. 4. But they could get right back to No. 1 with a win in 100th meeting with rival Hopkins.

5 Princeton 5 2 Staved off comeback to beat Rutgers. Home vs. Penn starts five straight Ivy League games to end the season.

6 North Carolina 6 3 May have buried UVa and secured playoff berth with last win. Only UMBC remains before ACC tourney.

7 Georgetown 6 2 Rebounded from Navy loss with drubbing of Vermont. Tough game at Loyola is next on Sat.

8 Army 8 2 Just escaped Yale with win then crushed Lehigh. More conference games with Colgate and Bucknell coming up.

9 Ohio State 8 2 State continues to surge with iwn over Butler. Tough trip to Hobart coming up on Saturday.

10 Brown 7 1 Back in top 10 after squeaking out win over Yale. Two Ivy games: home vs Harvard and at Penn.

11 Duke 4 5 Tough to knock one-goal loss to Hop. But the Dukies are under .500 and desparate going into Charlottesville.
12 Towson 5 3 Frosh Engelke was on fire in two wins last week. Tough week coming up with ranked Delaware on Wed. and Hofstra on Sat.
13 Notre Dame 5 4 Tied for 13th. Swept pair of games in Denver. Big GWLL matchup at home against Fairfield on Sat.
14 Cornell 5 2 Tied for 13th. Got big Ivy win in OT against Harvard. Try to keep winning streak alive hosting Cuse and Dartmouth this week.
15 Rutgers 6 3 Valiant effort in loss to Princeton. The Knights have a tough four-game stretch starting with Cuse on Sat.
16 Virginia 3 6 After loss to UNC, one more defeat and the champs have no shot at the tourney. Guess what? Equally desperate Duke is next.
17 Massachusetts 6 4 With Zywicki done for the year, UMass had 12 goalscorers in win over Manhattan. Cannell meets former assistant Shay at Yale on Sat.
18 Denver 6 3 Beat Fairfield but lost to ND. Denver still needs another big win to get into tourney. Air Force on Sat. won't do it.
19 Delaware 8 3 Tied for 19th with Dartmouth and Villanova. After loss to Nova, visit to talented Towson could spell a losing streak for the Hens.
