1. Johns Hopkins
Defeated Navy in overtime.
2. Navy
Overtime loser to Hopkins, winner over Maryland.
3. Maryland
Edges Syracuse with better quality wins, and losses
to top two teams only.
4. Syracuse
Won by four over Army, six over Virginia, two over Princeton,
but lost by four to Rutgers.
5. Georgetown
The still improving Hoyas demolished Cornell, hung with
Navy.
8. Princeton
Two goal winner over Rutgers and one goal winner over
Virginia.
7. Ohio State
Consecutive victories over Notre Dame (9-8) and Duke
(16-9), coupled with a Navy win, make the Buckeyes the
class of the GWLL.
8. Penn
Undefeated at home, Penn's win over Cornell now looks
very big.
9. Cornell
A big win over Princeton puts Cornell at the top of
the Ivy League.
10. Army
A one goal winner over Rutgers, Army has almost the
same record against common opponents as Princeton.
11. Rutgers
Two goal loser to Princeton, one goal loser to Army,
Rutgers beat Syracuse by four.
12. Virginia
One goal winner over Towson, two goal winner over North
Carolina.
13. Towson
Lost to Virginia in overtime, but the Tigers best win
is Rutgers.
14. North Carolina
The Tarheels could have slashed their carotid artery
and not lost as much blood as when they let Virginia
beat them with man down goals at the ACC Tournament.
16. Hobart
There are no quitters on this team, which still is alive
for the playoffs going into its last game.
15. Dartmouth
A win over Penn gives the Green Men a faint pulse, but
its fading fast.
