The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association has partnered with the AlumniAthlete Network to create an ongoing presence in the post-collegiate women’s lacrosse community and to provide their membership the tools to serve their current and former athletes. The goal of the partnership is to create a network of current and former women’s collegiate lacrosse players that allows them to leverage their student-athlete experience to address their post-collegiate needs.

The centerpiece of this partnership gives each women’s collegiate lacrosse program the opportunity to host their alumni community on the AlumniAthlete Network. Each coach who signs on to the program is given their own alumni home page or “Team Lounge” with the following administrative tools to help build an alumni community:

• Event Management
• Electronic Communication
• Polling Technology
• Photo Galleries
• Online Career Center
• Team Lounge Customization Tools

Through this partnership, the AlumniAthlete Network is offering a discounted rate to IWLCA member programs for administering their Team Lounge, with a commission going back to the IWLCA.

The AlumniAthlete Network offers an array of services to organizations targeting current and former collegiate athletes as consumers, donors and employees. Among their most relevant programs are this past September’s National Lacrosse Alumni Challenge which brought back over 600 former collegiate lacrosse players to compete with their former teammates against their former rivals; and the Wall Street Summer Internship Program for Student-Athletes, which places highly-qualified student-athletes in summer programs at many the most prestigious investment banks in the nation.
