Lax Scout opens
2004 High School Lacrosse Recruiting Report Registration

Lax Scout ,an organization dedicated to helping
high school students gain widespread exposure from college
lacrosse coaches throughout the country, announced Registration
is now officially open for Lax Scout's 2004 High School
Lacrosse Recruiting Report. You may go to the web site
at
www.laxscout.com and register to be included in
this year's publication that once again will be sent
out to over 200 college lacrosse coaches.
Lax Scout publishes the only national recruiting publication
for the sport making it the preeminent resource for
lacrosse recruitment. Lax Scout's 2003 High School Lacrosse
Recruiting Report was distributed to over 200 college
coaches and featured students from 16 states and Canada
This year Lax Scout has expanded its scouted
areas to include the following 7 states:
Arizona
Delaware
Maryland
Massachusetts
Tennessee
Virginia
Washington DC
For those high school lacrosse players that live in
one of these places, you are able to sign up for one
of Lax Scout's three scouted profiles including
the Titanium, Silver or Bronze premium profiles.
HIgh school players who want to sign up for one of
these scouted profiles must do so immediately to allow
time for Lax Scout to scout you.
High school players that live within the United States
or Canada and do not live in one of the above 7 states,
are able to sign up for either the Student Listing or
the Diamond Profile which is a 1/3 page and is available
everywhere (within the US and Canada). For more details

www.laxscout.com where you can also look at examples
of what the profiles will look like in the publication.
Students onsidering using Lax Scout's publicantion
and/or scouting services should go to the "About
Us" section on the Lax Scout web and look

Lax Scout has also added some highly experienced
new members to Lax Scout's national scouting
team which are led by three new scouting coordinators:
Tim Puls (UMBC) who spent more than 20 years
as the head coach at Essex in Maryland and has compiled
a jaw-dropping 213-90 record while producing a national
championship in '91, 6 runner-up teams, 15 MD junior
college championships, 13 region XX championships, 30
academic All-Americans, 71 NJCAA All-American, 10 players
that have played in either the MLL or NLL, while receiving
15 MD junior college and 2 NJCAA coach of the year awards.
Jon Speers (UNC) who is the owner of the Stickhead
Lacrosse store in Nashville and is currently an assistant
coach at the perennial powerhouse in Tennessee, Montgomery
Bell Academy which has sent many players DI in the past
(you might recall the goalie at Notre Dame a few years
back that lead ND to their first ever Final Four appearance...he
went to MBA in TN).
John Pynchon (Nichols) who is a former head coach
at Plymouth State, former assistant coach at Gordon,
former coach at St. John's Prep and a product of Coach
Cuozzo at Ward Melville.
