Despite tremendous attention from opposing defenses, the gifted senior midfielder from Calvert Hall continues to score in record volumes and yesterday was no exception as Huntley dented the net eight times and recorded four assists to lead the top-ranked Cardinals to an easy, 18-7, non- conference lacrosse win over visiting Gonzaga (DC), in Towson.

Huntley, who has already committed to play lacrosse at Johns Hopkins next year, has an incredible variety of shots as well as the ability to find an open teammate when the resistance gets to strong.

Junior Phillip Blevins and senior Brad Stanley each scored two goals for the Cardinals (3-0), while seniors Matt Buschman and Kevin Buchanan each scored one goal and added three assists.

Loyola 15, Robinson (VA) 4

Senior Ben Rubeor scored three goals and added two assists to lead second-ranked Loyola to a 15-4 rout of host Robinson, in a non-conference lacrosse game yesterday in Fairfax, Virginia.

Junior Brady Smith, who dominated the face-off circle, also scored three times, while junior midfielder Tim Paul contributed four points, including two goals, for the Dons (4-0). Seniors Andrew Baird and Emrys Darrell also added two goals each.

Park 6, Key 5

Led by two goals from junior J.J. Baylin, Park built a 6-5 lead on Key after two quarters and neither team scored again as the Bruins claimed a MIAA B Conference lacrosse victory, yesterday in Annapolis.
