Bridgeport's Roy Colsey: Generating more
power in your shot August 6, 2003
from majorleaguelacrosse.com
Generating more power on your shot requires that you use
your entire body in the wind up. The legs, hips and arms
all play a significant role in generating torque as you
prepare to release your shot. Similar to a golf swing,
you have to coil your body around its axis and then uncoil
towards the target.
Remember to get your hands as far away from the target
as possible and keep your elbows away from your side.
At the end of your follow through, snap your wrists
towards the target.
