Boston's David Evans on developing a
power shot
August 11, 2003

Here's a couple of tips for shooting harder. Good mechanics
are the most important because you do not have to be huge
to shoot hard! Also, repetition! Get a bucket of balls
and have a buddy flip them to you for about an hour. It
helps to have a backstop behind you so you don't spend
all day picking up your shots!
The best power shot comes from your overhand, high
to low. It should have lots of torque with a quick release.
Power and consistent placement are both obtained with
this type of shot!!!
